33rd IraSME Call for Proposals Closed with a Record High
What a fantastic result! IraSME call No. 33 inspired 66 project consortia to submit their transnational R&D proposals. This is the highest number of submissions our funding network has ever seen. New IraSME member Switzerland is the main reason behind the surge: 43 consortia with Swiss participants took this first opportunity to submit their innovative project ideas within an IraSME call to our Swiss partner agency Innosuisse.
The 33rd IraSME call was open from December 2023 until 27 March 2024.
The following countries/regions were participating: Austria, Brazil, Flanders (Belgium), Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Türkiye, and Wallonia (Belgium).
The proposals have now entered the technical evaluation stage in each country's or region's local funding programme. Results are expected to be communicated at the end of July 2024.
The 34th IraSME call for proposals will open beginning of June 2024 and close on 25 September 2024.

Save the Date: BMWK's SME Innovation Day 2024
On 13 June 2024 the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) is celebrating its annual Innovation Day for SMEs in Berlin. The popular event, which is open to the general public, brings together innovative projects, high-performing companies and bright minds and will be held under the motto "This is how the future works! - Digital. Transformative. Resilient."
Around 300 exhibitors, including young companies and start-ups as well as established family businesses and cooperation partners from industry and research, will present their pioneering developments, which have been realised with the support of BMWK’s sector-neutral innovation funding.
As in previous years, the “International Area” will host a number of funded international projects, including successful IraSME and CORNET projects. At noon, selected funding agencies from various countries will present their funding conditions. The IraSME and CORNET coordination teams will have their own booth on site and are looking forward to answering your questions regarding potential future R&D project submissions.

The onsite event will be accompanied by virtual webinars on 10 + 11 June 2024, and an online B2B matchmaking platform. Free registration for both will start soon via the event website in May 2024:
