28th Call for Proposals is Closed

The 28th IraSME call for proposals was open until 29 September 2021. We received 13 project applications for bilateral R&D collaborations by participants from Alberta (Canada), Flanders (Belgium), Germany, Russia, and Turkey.

Topics or fields of technology chosen by our applicants range from waste recycling, medical fabrics, hydrogen production and smart textiles to microwave technology, molecular diagnostics, gas measurement and animal health. 

Austria and the Czech Republic were not able to join this particular call. In the case of Austria though we are glad to be able to announce that FFG has already confirmed their participation in the 29th IraSME call for proposals, which will close end of March 2022.

Our Canadian network partner representing the Province of Alberta has recently undergone a name change. Formerly known as the German-Canadian Centre for Innovation and Research (GCCIR) for many years, it is now appropriately called the European-Canadian Centre for Innovation and Research (ECCIR). 

The new name reflects ECCIR’s growing from their roots in German-Canadian collaboration into successfully expanding its focus and activities toward facilitating European-Canadian research and business relations.

ECCIR joined the IraSME network in 2018 and has since participated in every call for proposals. Companies registered in Alberta may apply for R&D funding through the Alberta-Europe Technology Collaboration Fund.
