IraSME Online Partnering Event: New Date 10 November 2020

IraSME and CORNET, our partner network for transnational pre-competitive research projects, are inviting you to register for our upcoming free virtual partnering event via B2Match:

We have moved the live webinar and starting date for your matchmaking video chats to 10 November 2020. Accidently, this day is also known as the UN “World Science Day for Peace and Development” - a fitting motto for our network's efforts!

Registration is open now! Please find the webinar agenda, participant profiles and registration link here:

The 1:1 video calls between potential future project partners and/or with representatives by the funding organisations involved, can be booked and conducted between 10 November and 10 December 2020.

26th Call has Closed – Highest Number of Submission since 2013!

The 26th IraSME call for proposals has closed on 30 September 2020. We have seen the highest number of entries in years: 31 transnational projects were submitted!

The participating countries/regions in this call were: Alberta (Canada), Brazil, Czech Republic, Flanders (Belgium), Germany, Luxembourg, Russia, Turkey, Wallonia (Belgium).

This was the first call with new IraSME member Brazil, represented by EMBRAPII – The Brazilian Agency for Industrial Research and Technological Innovation. So we are particularly happy to have registered three different projects with partners from Brazil.

More information on our joint calls for proposals can be found on the IraSME website.

Germany Day in Skolkovo postponed to 2021

We previously announced that IraSME and network member FASIE had kindly been invited by the German Center for Research and Innovation (DWIH, Moscow) to take part at the Germany Day in Skolkovo, Russia, on 26 October 2020.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the event has been postponed to 2021. An exact date has not been set yet. Further information will be provided on the websites of DWIH Moscow:
German: https://www.dwih-moskau.org/de/
Russian: https://www.dwih-moskau.org/ru/

We are looking forward to presenting funding opportunities for collaborative research and innovation projects within the IraSME network in general, and German-Russian SME partnerships in particular, next year in Skolkovo Technopark.

The Germany Day in Skolkovo is a full-day event organised by the Skolkovo Innovation Center, the German Embassy in Moscow, DWIH Moscow, and the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce. The varied agenda will offer participants and visitors the chance to attend panel discussions and workshops on topics related to digital future, global partnerships, technology transfer, research-inspired entrepreneurship, support for Russian-German research projects, and the start-up scene in Russia and Germany.

General Information

IraSME (International research activities by SMEs) is a network of ministries and funding agencies which are owners or managers of national and regional funding programmes for cooperative research projects between small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Research and technology organisations (RTOs) can be additional partners or subcontractors in most of those programmes. Against the background of growing competition in global markets, IraSME supports SMEs in their transnational innovation activities, helps them acquiring technological know-how, extending their networks and bridging the gap between research and innovation. Current network partners are Alberta (Canada), Austria, Belgium (Wallonia and Flanders), Brazil, Czech Republic, Germany, Luxembourg, Russia and Turkey.
