IraSME @Innoprom in Ekaterinburg 08-11 July 2019

INNOPROM is the main industrial, trade and export platform in Russia. As one of the key sites of the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation, INNOPROM serves as a platform where the foundations of industrial policy are laid. About 80% of the exhibition visitors are professional buyers from around the world, specialists from industrial enterprises, who make decisions about the introduction of new products and technologies in the production.

IraSME will be hosted for the first time this year at the common booth for Germany organized by the German House for Science and Innovation (DIWH) in Moscow. We will inform about funding options and try to raise awareness for international cooperation.

We would be happy if you'd visit our booth but Innoprom has a lot more to offer. Aside from companies showing their products and services there will be expert panels and a matchmaking which you can use to find new partners for your next IraSME projects.

If you're interested visit www.innoprom.com/en for further information and registration.

Next Partnering Event in Namur 27 November 2019

In late November we will again organize a classical Partnering Event. This time it will be hosted by Wallonia's Public Service DG06, our funding partner for the Walloon region of Belgium in Namur.

The second IraSME Partnering Event in 2019 will again include online matchmaking on the B2match plattform and elevator pitches to present your technical know-how or your project idea.

The event homepage with registration and matchmaking tool will be set up during the summer. We will inform you when the registration is open.

The event will again be free of charge.

New website is launched

With the launch of the 24th Call we also launched a new website. We try to make the information and documents you need as accessible as possible.

While the main changes in our online representation are in design and structure we will also try to add some content that could be interesting for you. If you find any problems, don't find something you are looking for or have any ideas how we can improve please contact us.

We are always grateful for ideas and constructive critizism.

Review: Innovation Day of BMWi in Berlin 09 May 2019

Guest Country: Austria

Our previous IraSME Event was integrated in the Innovation Day of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) on the premises of AiF Projekt GmbH in Berlin. This traditional tradefair of ideas in the green was again very successfull.

The cloudy sky did not stop about 2.000 visitors from attending BMWi's traditional multitechnological innovation trade fair in the park. The results of about 300 BMWi funded projects and networks were presented together with lots of information about innovation and funding.

This year the Innovation Day had Austria as the Guest Country. The Innovation Day was opened by the State Secretary of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affiars and Energy, Christian Hirte and the General Director of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Digital and Economic Affairs, Michael Esterl. After that 19 succesful projects with Austrian partenrs as well as a large number of Austrian multiplicators and research centers showed the visitors what makes Austria attractive for cooperation in research and development.

General Information

IraSME (International research activities by SMEs) is a network of ministries and funding agencies which are owners or managers of national and regional funding programmes for cooperative research projects between small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Research and technology organisations (RTOs) can be additional partners or subcontractors in most of those programmes. Against the background of growing competition in global markets, IraSME supports SMEs in their transnational innovation activities, helps them acquiring technological know-how, extending their networks and bridging the gap between research and innovation. Current network partners are Alberta (Canada), Austria, Belgium (Wallonia and Flanders), Czech Republic, Germany, Luxembourg, Russia and Turkey.
