Upcoming Partnering Event in Brussels -
19 October 2017

IraSME organises at least two partnering events per year in cooperation with our partner programme CORNET. Participation is free of charge and guests are welcome to join the event.

The next Partnering Event will take place on 19 October 2017 in Brussels in cooperation with our flamish partner VLAIO. The main focus is on the running joint calls for proposals in IraSME and CORNET. Besides, the event will contain Elevator Pitch Sessions for your project ideas or organisation profiles. Main target groups of the event are small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), as well as SME associations, universities and research & technology organizations (RTO) that are interested in building transnational cooperation projects.
The event will start at 10:00 am (registration from 09:30) and end around 04:00 pm. The fixed timetable will be made available close to the event with a newsletter and is constantly updated on our website. For further information on the event in Brussels please visit www.ira-sme.net

Elevator Pitch Session in Brussels

During the partnering event you have the possibility to present a project idea and search for partners with the right know-how or present your organisation and your technical expertise to find a project. You have 5 minutes for your presentation so keep it short! The elevator pitch session will take place on 19 October 2017, starting 01:00 pm to 04:00 pm. If you want to give a presentation, please send it via Email to the IraSME coordination office before 05 October 2017.
The slots for presentations are limited and we already have first bookings so secure your slot as early as possible. This is also possible with a first rough idea. The submission of your presentation can be postponed after you reserved your slot.
In order to set up an agenda it is necessary to include the following information in your Email:
  • Your name and organisation
  • Title for your presentation
  • Short description on your presentation ("Organisation profile" or 150 letters about your project idea)
  • Field of technology of your presentation
  • Do you agree that your presentation is published online after the event?

Successful Partnering Event in Berlin

The second IraSME Partnering Event in 2017 was organised with our partner network CORNET and in cooperation with the EEN network Berlin.
It took place in Berlin at the Innovation Day 2017 with two individual workshop sessions, detailed programme presentations and discussions about science and technology in the Face-to-Face Meeting area. Almost a hundred participants initiated new contacts, developped joint project ideas and visited the exhibitors on the Innovationday 2017.
The Innovation Day is a yearly open air event held at the premises of AiF Projekt GmbH in Berlin. More than 400 SMEs and RTOs show the results of their research and development projects funded by BMWi within the national funding schemes IGF (CORNET) and ZIM (IraSME). This year about 1.800 visitors and 28 members of the German parliament used the sunny day to visit the state-of-the-art innovation show in the park.
